Beschrijving: Members of the Icelandic parliament visited Denmark in order to discuss the relationship between Iceland and Denmark. Iceland had in 1904 acquired home rule, but the wish for full independence was prominent in Iceland. The country became independent in 1918, though still under the Danish king. In 1944 Iceland became a republic.
